Kiara Advani Awarded ‘Brand Personality of the Year’

Bollywood actress Kiara Advani was honoured with the ‘Brand Personality of the Year’ award at the Brand World Summit ’24 organised by Economic Times BrandEquity.

The award honors her association with many leading brands like Mango, Myntra, TRESemme, Lenskart, drools, Mohey, Caprese and SENCO among many others. She is one of the leading icons in promoting brands in the era of digital marketing.

During an interview at the summit, she shared her experience with brand partnerships: “I have been working in the industry for 10 years and I think all the brands that have come my way have been exceptional and most of them are brands that I have been working with for years.”

The actress added that her biggest strength as a brand ambassador is her authenticity. She shared that she often uses the products she endorses.

She said, “I think when you use your own products and when you go out there and they see it beyond the ads that are on TV or in the press, you connect with the audience and they feel like she really believes in it, she’s not just selling another product, and I think that authenticity comes through in the end.”

She also spoke about how she prioritizes understanding the entire essence of a brand, both as a promoter and consumer, before endorsing it. Once she’s convinced, she works “wholeheartedly” with the brand.

Kiara also spoke about understanding the needs of consumers to better reach them. “When you understand who the consumer is, what their needs are and what that gap is or what they are looking for, I believe we will be able to reach them, make them feel heard, valued, understood and give them what they need. Because at the end of the day, we are all consumers of different products,” she said.

He is currently working on his upcoming films which include ‘Game Changer’ and ‘Don 3’.
