Big Global Awards 2024 campaign open for entries, with a focus on local creativity | News

After a hugely successful launch in 2023, the Campaign BIG Global Awards returns for a second year, giving agencies of all sizes the chance to make their mark on the global stage.

The BIG Awards programme has long been a flagship event for Campaign and British advertising. However, as the advertising industry has become a truly global community, Campaign has expanded its editorial presence around the world, bringing its flagship awards with it.

The BIG Global Awards celebrate the best creative from around the world that is too big for one market and deserves international recognition. It is an opportunity for “local” agencies with great ideas and groundbreaking work to gain international recognition.

And for all BIG Global winners, the potential for global exposure is huge, with over 1.2 million unique visitors per month across Campaign UK, the US, Asia and now Canada.

The inaugural BIG Global Awards received entries from four continents and established agencies of all sizes from Japan, Brazil, Honduras, Canada, Germany and Spain. The entries are being judged by a panel of the best creative minds from around the world, and the chair will be announced soon (Liz Taylor global CCO of Ogilvy chaired the first year).

The BIG Global Awards feature a carefully considered list of categories by both sector and media, as well as Craft categories. New categories for this year include: 30 Second TV Commercial, Customer Experience and Design.

Entry fees are reduced until the early bird deadline, with the standard deadline being October 17 and the final deadline (with higher fees) being October 24.
