MSP Airport reopens after officials investigate suspicious item in Terminal 1

Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport reopened after authorities investigated a suspicious item in Terminal 1.

MSP Airport Police said the north end of Terminal 1 was closed Wednesday evening as an investigation into a suspicious item was completed. As a result, incoming traffic to the airport was blocked for an extended period.

Authorities said the airport road reopened at around 6:15 p.m. and all ticketing and baggage claim points were fully open.
