Woods Hole Film Festival Announces Opening Night Lineup

WOODS HOLE – Cape Cod’s longest-running film festival returns for its thirty-third year, with the Woods Hole Film Festival announcing its 2024 lineup ahead of its late July premiere.

This year’s film festival will feature 47 feature-length films and 73 short films, selected from nearly 1,000 entries, representing a variety of genres and projects from a wide range of filmmakers from 19 countries.

Performances will be held at the Redfield and Cornelia Clapp Auditoriums in Woods Hole and at the Simon Center for the Arts at Falmouth Academy from Saturday, July 27, 2024, through Saturday, August 3, 2024, with virtual performances following August 4–11.

The program will feature numerous feature films set in New England and 67 premieres by both emerging and experienced filmmakers.

Additional attractions include master classes, workshops, panel discussions, live music and celebrations.

The festival is supported by grants and support from regional sponsors such as the Mass Cultural Council, the Woods Hole Foundation and the Marine Biological Laboratory.
