ARRESTS — Arrested a 49-year-old man for gross misdemeanor third-degree DWI and felony fifth-degree possession Wednesday, July 10, at Southeast 13th and Laurel streets.

Arrested a 41-year-old man for second-degree DWI after a traffic stop at 9:49 pm Tuesday at South Eighth and Front streets.

Arrested a 38-year-old man for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation impersonal to public safety, felony fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor fourth-degree driving while impaired after a traffic stop at 12:57 pm Tuesday on Highway 25 and Highway 18.

CHILD MALTREATMENT — Report of child maltreatment Wednesday on South 10th Street.

SUSPICIOUS — Received a report of a suspicious person at 7:17 am Wednesday on the 300 block of Fifth Avenue Northeast.

Located a suspicious person at 12:21 am Wednesday and determined to be a tenant of the campground, 1600 block of Northeast Washington Street.

Suspicious vehicle reported at 11:14 pm Tuesday at South 10th and Brook streets.

Suspicious person reported at 9:12 pm Tuesday on the 900 block of Oak Street.

Suspicious activity reported at 8:49 am Tuesday on the 400 block of Eighth Avenue Northeast.

A suspicious person was reported at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday on the 600 block of Front Street.

ASSIST — Assisted Crow Wing County with a traffic stop at 1:51 am Wednesday at 13th Street Southeast and Pine streets.

PROPERTY DAMAGE — Report of property damage at 10:20 pm Tuesday on the 1100 block of East River Road.

Property damage reported Tuesday on the 1200 block of Maple Street.

THEFTS — Report of a theft at 8:56 pm Tuesday on the 600 block of Fourth Avenue Northeast.

Theft reported at 5:44 pm Tuesday on the 500 block of North Third Street.

A theft was reported Tuesday on the 1000 block of Kingwood Street.

FRAUD — A report of fraud Tuesday on the 15000 Beaver Dam Road.

A scam was reported Tuesday on the 800 block of Ninth Avenue Northeast.

FIRE — Assisted the Brainerd Fire Department with smoke coming from the building. Smoke was found to be from welding at 3:39 pm Tuesday on the 1000 block of Kingwood Street.
