X-Men ’97 Season 3 Confirmed With What If…? Writer – IGN The Fix: Entertainment

In today’s issue of Entertainment News:

X-Men ’97 Season 3 has found a head writer, and yes, before you say “Wait, where was Season 2?”, work on the second season had already begun when former showrunner Beau DeMayo was removed from the project. Head writer Matthew Chauncey will attempt to craft Season 3, and he already has Marvel credits with What If…? and Ms. Marvel. In other news, DreamWorks has announced Shrek 5 after star Eddie Murphy let slip that he was already recording lines for the film. The fifth Shrek will be released in 2026, a busy year for fifths with a fifth Toy Story and a fifth Avengers movie also planned. And finally, Crunchyroll has disabled comments on all of its platforms because users can’t play the nice card.
